UPDATE on USA Import tariffs as of the 3rd September 2025
We are pleased to announce a resumption of sales to the USA, as orders can now be sent via Royal Mail DDP (Delivery Duties Paid) service, which meets the new US customs requirements since the removal of the De minimis $800 duty free threshold. The import duty will be added to your order at the checkout stage and forwarded to US customs by the carrier on your behalf after shipping, enabling your purchase to process through US customs without further duties applied.
How to make a purchase
To make a purchase, simply click on the item you wish to buy that has the
button.
This will take you to the Shopping Cart where you can review the item details and click the Checkout button to proceed.
On the Checkout page, enter the required information, click ‘Confirm details’ and
select your shipping options, (the shipment charge is automatically calculated based on delivery address).
Select the PayPal payment method.
At this point, please review and accept the terms and conditions of purchase and click the “Paypal Checkout” button to complete your order.
Methods of payment
For both cart and non‑cart purchases:
All items are priced and transacted in £GBP.
PayPal or online card payments must also be in £GBP.
Scientific Collectables is not registered for V.A.T, therefore none is included or charged.

Shipping information
Shipping within the UK will normally be by Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery or Tracked 48.
Overseas destinations will be by Royal Mail International Tracked, or courier.
Where possible the shopping cart will combine multiple purchases to reduce total shipping cost.
In the unlikely event that two people purchase the same product before the stock control system has reflected the sold status of that item, then it will be sold to the earliest purchaser, and all monies refunded to the second purchaser.
We pack our items with great care and all orders are sent fully insured, giving customers protection from any financial losses should an order be lost or damaged.
In the unlikely event of any damage or loss during transit, please rest assured Scientific Collectables will reimburse customers directly.
Scientific Collectables cannot accept any liability for consequential loss arising from any late or damaged shipments, however caused.

Returns policy
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your purchase, please contact Scientific Collectables within 14 days of receipt, and in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, you may return the item for a full refund, providing the item is received in “as sent” condition.
Where possible, all original product packaging should be returned with the item.

Pay securely with any major credit or debit card through PayPal (a paypal account is not necessary).
If you do not wish to use the shopping cart
We will email you back with confirmation that the item is still available, along with the total price to pay, and the item will then be reserved for you for a specific period awaiting your payment.
