Manufactured by Newbold & Bulford under their brand name ENBEECO, this is a nice example of a 2 draw field telescope, complete with its original dark brown leather cladding, engraved on the first draw 'RANGER, 30X ENBEECO, LONDON, Made in England'.

The image clarity is very good as is the overall cosmetic condition, with the leather cladding stitching also intact. Producing an image of 30x magnification through the 40mm main objective lens, the draw tubes and main barrel are dent free, retaining all of their non reflective coating, with a firm draw action, suggesting this telescope has not had a great deal of use.

Measuring 24¾ (605mm) fully extended, 10¼" (260mm) closed, and weighing just over 700 grams, it comes with its original brown canvas roll case which is quite worn and threadbare in places but still serviceable.

A powerful yet compact field telescope, ideal for the hill or general spotting.
